My spiritual focus is entirely within the realm of contemporary land-based, nature centered spirituality and religious traditions. I am an ordained clergyman and have been providing spiritual direction for my community for over 20 years. During that time I have assisted births as a male doula (more properly doulos, or “dude-la” as I have been called), served as ministerial servant to the dying through my work at Horizon Hospice and created spiritual community through many organizations, including Brotherhood of the Phoenix, which I founded with six colleagues as a federally recognized, 501 (c)(3), Religious Order for Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender men, in order to address their specific spiritual needs.
